מַיִם אוֹמְרִים. לְקוֹל תִּתּוֹ הֲמוֹן מַיִם בַּשָּׁמַיִם, וַיַּעַל נְשִׂאִים מִקְצֵה אָרֶץ; בְּרָקִים לַמָּטָר עָשָׂה, וַיֹּצֵא רוּחַ מֵאֹצְרֹתָיו׃ (ירמיה נא טז)

Les eaux disent : « Lorsqu'Il fait entendre le tonnerre, des torrents d'eau s'amassent dans le ciel ; Il élève les nuées des confins de la terre. » (Jérémie 51:16)

The Waters are saying: “When His voice resounds with a great mass of water in the heavens, and He raises vapors from the ends of the Earth; when He makes lightning amongst the rain, and He brings out the wind from its storehouses.” (Jeremiah 51:16)

Les mers disent : « Plus que le tumulte des eaux profondes et des puissantes vagues de l’Océan, l'Éternel est imposant dans les hauteurs. » (Psaumes 93:4)

The Seas are saying: “More than the voices of many waters, than the mighty waves of the sea, God on high is mighty.” (Psalms 93:4)
